Learn about urban trees, winter tree identification, and food forests at the George Washington Carver Edible Park
Join us for an educational walk through the George Washington Carver Edible Park. We will explore this hidden gem in the heart of Asheville while discussing its history, how to identify trees with no leaves, food forests, and the importance of urban trees. Bring some warm clothes and be ready to learn your buds and bark! We will meet in the parking lot of the Stephens Lee Recreation Center. This work is being performed for the residents of the city of Asheville in partnership with the City of Asheville.
